Today the Cookie Monster was found dead in New York City Cookie Jar. The police officers announced his death from over dosing on chocolate chip cookies. The reason why they knew this was because they saw the crumbs all around his body. Ever since he last Sesame Street and moved to New York City; things got rough being in the spotlight. But no one thought this fluffy, blue character could ever pass away from his favorite pastime. “It’s quite ironic, I think for his death to be from something he loved so much”, said his mother Betsy Brownie. The detective on the case said it was bound to happen sometime; they found several types of cookies in the tiny baggies, worth about two thousand dollars. Cookie loves all cookies but everyone knows chocolate chip is his weakness. His memorial will be held at in Time Square so everyone can admire him for one last time. We are all sad to see this creature go, but unfortunately we knew all that cookie eating would catch up to him sometime.
